HONOLULU (December 7, 2010) — Hoakalei Country Club is the Best Golf Course in the United States and Americas, according to The Americas Property Awards 2010 in association with Bloomberg Television. Created by Ernie Els Design, the golf course is part of the award-winning, master-planned Hoakalei Resort community, located in ‘ Ewa Beach , Hawai‘i.
Hoakalei Country Club and golf course is part of a 726-acre master-planned resort community being built on former sugar cane lands on the southwest coast of O‘ahu. The results of International Property Awards were presented at a gala event at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park, London , on Nov. 26 and 27, 2010. Entries from the top-scoring winners of the Americas Property Awards competed against other winning companies from Europe and Africa, the United Kingdom , the Middle East and Asia-Pacific to find the ultimate World’s Best in each category. Company entries were judged by a panel of well-regarded real estate professionals, representing the national and international publishing industries, media, realtor associations, building councils, as well as the architecture, interior design and relocation communities.
